VENDOR GUIDE-read before applying!
In the vendor application you will be asked about your setup and space needs as a vendor. Please read descriptions below and review the map above and make note of where you could be placed based on your specific needs. Then, go fill out the application. The intention here is to give you a general layout of the venue. You cannot choose specifically where you will be placed but I will place you as best as I can to accommodate your needs and preferences.

ACCESSIBILITY, LOAD IN & PARKING

THERE ARE LOTS OF STAIRS. THERE IS NO WAY TO AVOID STAIRS IN THIS VENUE. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. This is a ballroom built in 1906. There is a set of stairs from the main entry ticket booth at East Burnside street level up to level two, the main ballroom. There is a second set of stairs from level two to level three. There are also stairs at the backstage door load in on SE 8th. All stairs are about the same to navigate. The Burnside street level main doors at 722 E. Burnside are located closer to the parking lot on 7th.

Vendors may use the parking lot on SE 7th free of charge. This is a gravel lot with a lot of bumps and no marked lines. Please drive cautiously and park so that all vehicles can have a spot.

All attendees, vendors and helpers must be 21+ and you may bring one helper for load in/out or to cover your booth during open hours.

The ONLY bathrooms are on level two off the ballroom entry hall.
For attendees needing stair assistance, the venue offers a stairclimber that is operated by venue staff. They use it regularly. If you of someone you know requires the stairclimber, please email the venue:

TABLES & LIGHTING SETUP

******You must bring your own six foot tables******

This is an old venue with low lighting and very few outlets. You must bring NON-plug in lights. You may bring plug in lights and extension cords but Dark Market/Nova makes NO GUARANTEE that you will be able to plug in.

Price is $75 per six foot table space + $10 per additional rack/shelf/grid wall that does not fit in the footprint of your six foot table. The additional rack/shelf/grid wall must fit based on the description of the space description.Example: +6ft +8ft

You may purchase multiple six foot tables if they are grouped together. There are several places where a roughly 10 X 10 setup can fit, as noted. Charge for a 10 foot space would be $225 ($75 per table X 3).

We recommend you bring your own chair unless you are fine with the bench wall seats indicated in blue on the map. Bar chairs are also available for your use.

No items may be hung directly from the venue walls, and there is no leaning of grid walls on the walls. Free standing grid walls are ok ONLY if the space description says there is room. This is for traffic floor and fire code purposes.

Only candle vendors are permitted to light candles in enclosed containers and on tabletops only. Lit candles must be supervised at all times.

Parking lot (free for vendors) located on the west side of the venue, entrance on SE 7th and Burnside. Paid street parking also available.

722 East Burnside main entrance has the ticket booth and ATM.

Load in from 722 East Burnside main entrance AND from backstage door load in on SE 8th. Both doors have stairs.

LEVEL TWO / BALLROOM & MAIN BAR

Level three reserved for minimal or lightweight vendor setups, as it is up two flights of stairs to load in/out.

Bar on this level will likely be closed. Windows overlook the main ballroom here and there will be seating available for attendees. You will be able to hear the music from the ballroom below. Signage will direct attendees to the level three stairs from the ballroom lobby on level two. There will also be an ad on the big screen letting people know there are vendors on level three.
